I’ve been organizing other people’s cabinets and closets for about as long as I can remember.
I genuinely love the puzzle of walking into a space that isn’t working, figuring out why, and creating something better.
Sometimes the answer is organization.
Sometimes it’s design.
Usually it’s some combination of the two.
My background in project management, journalism, home staging, organization, and design means I tend to look at homes from several angles at once.
I want to understand what you need.
I want to know how you actually live.
And then I want to build something you can keep living with after I leave.
And probably a junk room.
Most customers apologize at some point while showing us around.
You don’t need to.
We live in a culture where it is incredibly easy to accumulate too much stuff.
Things stop fitting our lives.
Children grow.
Hobbies change.
We buy duplicates because we forgot what we already owned.
And sometimes we keep a high chair in a hall closet for years because apparently one day someone might visit with a baby.
No judgment.
You don’t need to organize before hiring an organizer.
That would rather defeat the purpose.
